Sometimes in job interviews you get asked “What motivates you?” The answer I give – and it’s a true one – is that I really enjoy working and communicating with people, solving problems and facilitating change. I also love my technology and enjoy when technology can be used to really improve the way we work, live and play.
My career to date has always been ‘customer facing’ and that is why the explosion in Social Media is so exciting to me – I can reach out to so many more people – whilst still being personal! I also understand business – having worked in corporate IT and also running several successful businesses where customer satisfaction is vital.
I cut my technology and IT teeth during the ‘dot-com’ boom of the late ’90s and saw the massive explosion of the internet and have watched as it has changed all our lives – this explosion is happening again now.
I live in West Sussex, UK with my partner; I love life, watching my children grow and prosper and having fun!
